Chill spot, major dive bar vibes. No live music at the time we were there but I wonder how they fit in there when they are. Very friendly and attentive bartender, nice patrons and pool tables if there's interest. Just watch your back if at the bar, you may get cued if you're too close. Prices are decent for Montpelier with at least one option that's a $3 draft. Will return if invited again.

It's not as weird or divey as I hoped. I'm not sure about the two big guys that closed up with matching beanies. They were a bit aggressive in general, I don't know their actual affiliation.

Finally got to visit Charlie O's...Wolfie was the kindest, Thank you for my celebratory Gin with cranberry & lime....perfect! My friends had a great time, lucky its my local bar. Glad they're open!!!

Too much drama and passive aggression but that's how it goes in a small town with almost no nightlife. Kudos to Charlie O's for not being a source of real trouble in Montpelier, especially for a (try hard) "dive" bar.

A very fun local dive bar! The bartender was awesome. The pool table + fun hangs with friends can't be beat! Can't wait to go back.
